Riverside Train Project

Club members are currently refurbishing an old train located at Riverside Park which consists of a C&O Kanawha locomotive and tender and a Virginia type C-1 caboose #64.. Neglect and weather over the years have caused this stately train to fall into disrepair. The Kiwanis Club is restoring it to its original glory and there are hopes for building a protective shed over it so that generations to come will get the chance to experience and gaze upon our rich railroad history.
